We offer at the moment algae ropes at two locations in Norway, Sørreisa and Lyngen.
Some fact about our algae ropes;
- Each meter of algae rope is put out in the ocean 6 times in 3 years
- One meter of algae rope produces in average 16 kg of kelp, which we harvest twice per year
- One kilo of algae absorbs in average 2,2 kilo of CO2, which in addition, absorbs nitrats
- One kilo of algae can give soup to up to 20 people
- One meter of algae rope can give one bowl of soup to 320 people
- Each meter of algae rope will give €15 to Corporate Social Responsibility every year for 3 years
- We buy back the algae rope after 6 harvests, 3 times your initial buy through revenue sharing
